| Portuguese Abstract: | O Orçamento Público é uma ferramenta que possibilita o poder governamental a estabelecer metas para usufruir das receitas obtidas, para que os interessados sejam agraciados com o resultado da ação do uso dessas receitas, segundo PIRES (2001) o orçamento público tem como objetivo definir receitas e despesas, para que a máquina pública não perca seu equilíbrio nas cotas públicas, tendo eficiência e eficácia. O presente trabalho teve como objeto de pesquisa o município de Currais Novos/RN. O trabalho compreendeu uma pesquisa descritiva do ponto de vista dos objetivos, documental e bibliográfica no que diz respeito aos procedimentos técnicos e qualitativa no que tange a forma de abordagem. Como principais resultados a pesquisa mostrou como é estabelecido o Orçamento Público na cidade de Currais Novos, identificando que muito embora o município tenha interesse em realizar um orçamento participativo e a população tenha tido mais interesse em participar, o orçamento de forma concreta ainda é feito pelo meio tradicional, isto é, sem a participação ativa da população. |
| Abstract: | The Public Budget is a tool that allows government power to establish goals to enjoy the revenues obtained, so that the interested parties are awarded the result of the action of the use of these revenues, according to PIRES (2001) the public budget aims to define revenues and So that the public machine does not lose its balance in the public quotas, having efficiency and effectiveness. The present study had as object of research the municipality of Currais Novos/RN. The work comprised a descriptive research from the point of view of the objectives, documentary and bibliographical with respect to the technical procedures and qualitative in the form of approach. As the main results the research showed how the Public Budget is established in the city of Currais Novos, identifying that although the municipality has an interest in having a participatory budget and the population has had more interest in participating, the budget is concretely still made by the Traditional means, that is, without the active participation of the population. |
