| Abstract | In the contemporary scenario of advertising art direction, the fusion between human creativity and Artificial Intelligence (AI) redefines paradigms. This monograph explores, through bibliographical research in available literature and news, as well as through an unstructured interview with a professional specialist in art direction, the ethical and aesthetic implications triggered by the rise of generative AIs. By analyzing emblematic cases, such as the digital resurrection of Elis Regina in a Volkswagen campaign, we investigate ethical dilemmas faced by art directors. We address the need for global regulation, highlighting IBM's actions and Bill 2338/2023 in Brazil. Additionally, we explore how AIs can power trend analysis, moodboards and the creation of personalized images in advertising art direction. We conclude by emphasizing the importance of algorithmic transparency and regulatory ethics. This research contributes to understanding the intersection between human creativity and AI, outlining a path for responsible collaboration in the future of advertising art direction. | |
