O nível de efetividade da rede de atenção primária à saúde no município de Currais Novos/RN

Abstract

After the promulgation of the Federal Constitution of 1988 and the regulation of SUS in 1990, the need arises to offer public services that meet the interests of society in an effective, effective and economical way. Therefore, this study aimed to analyze the level of effectiveness of the Network of Primary Health Care in the Municipality of Currais Novos/RN. A descriptive / exploratory research with quantitative approach and documental collection procedure was carried out with all 17 Basic Health Units that make up the Network of Primary Attention to Health also known as Primary Care. We analyzed the expenses, the quality of the services rendered and the productivity of the UBS’s for the period from january to june of 2018. The research revealed that the biggest expense of the units is with payroll, the values vary from 87,88% to 99,14% of the total cost of each. From the analysis of the cost-productivity-quality ratio, the effectiveness levels of each establishment were defined, categorizing them in effectiveness quadrants, it was revealed that 47.05 of them are highly effective, 41,17% have regular effectiveness and 11,76% were considered as ineffective.
