Through real testimonies, the documentary seeks to raise public awareness and prompt reflection on this emblematic case. It will explore different facets of the case, investigating hypotheses such as kidnapping and human trafficking, and delving into the emotional, social, and legal implications of these traumatic events. Using the audiovisual language, the project intends to reach a broad audience and spark discussions and reflections on the disappearance of the children, the impact on their families’ lives, the negligence of the authorities, and media coverage. The project’s methodology will involve data collection through interviews and documentary and bibliographic research, followed by editing and dissemination of the documentary. Strict ethical principles will be observed to ensure the privacy of the families involved and to handle the shared stories with care and sensitivity. This experimental project is believed to be a powerful tool to deepen public understanding of the Planalto children's disappearance.
