This is an analytical study with a qualitative approach, carried out with 25 nurses, through a semi-structured questionnaire. It was found that the concept of worker health was given in broad outlines, thus proving that there is a deficiency in the conceptual field in this respect. Nevertheless, there was mention of the importance of conditions that contribute to the satisfactory development of work, in order to avoid worker illness, emphasizing concepts corroborating the change of the health care model, with a view focused on promoting worker health and preventing illness.
