This objective is justified by the challenges associated with unplanned urban growth and extreme thermal conditions, which directly impact the region's quality of life. In this context, the study seeks to answer: How do land use and urban infrastructure influence climatic conditions and the perception of thermal comfort in the studied area? To address this, a methodological approach based on a mobile transect was adopted, including measurements of climatic variables and questionnaires administered to avenue users. The results reveal that inadequate urban planning exacerbates phenomena such as heat islands and thermal discomfort, particularly in areas with higher building density and traffic. Residents' perceptions also indicate dissatisfaction with the local environmental quality.
