An excellent tool to control mild symptoms is the diet, which includes avoiding citrus foods in dietary treatment, but the exclusion of acidic juices and fruits is unspecific. Thus, the objective of this work is to analyze the fruit juices, comparing the acidity to achieve a descending ranking of the acidity of the juices (industrialized and in natura) and to develop an orientation booklet. Fifty - five samples of industrialized juices (nectar, pulp, concentrated juice, tropical juice) were analyzed in orange, grape, peach, passion fruit and mango juice and 28 samples of fresh juices of 11 different flavors. The analyzes used were titratable acidity and pH determination. The results show that the first option to prevent possible gastroesophageal discomforts are the natural fruit juices, however it has been observed that some types present high acidity limiting the consumption of people suffering from gastroesophageal reflux and gastritis, being the orientation to the cashew , mango, pineapple, ruby grape, orange, guava free consumption and for the lemon, umbu, cajá flavors avoid / reduce consumption, respecting the tolerance of each individual.
