Drawing on biomythography – a concept by Audre Lorde that intertwines myth, history, and biography – the audiovisual project articulates the ancestral and oral traditions of traditional communities, reclaiming memories and strengthening identities. Documentary and field research, combined with the active participation of the terreiro community, guide the creation, production, and post-production process of the short film, addressing the challenges of filmmaking in traditional spaces and the significance of social impact distribution.
