Uma contribuição para o desenvolvimento de um esclerômetro pendular instrumentado. Orientador: Anderson Clayton Alves de Melo. 2022. 50 f. Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso (Graduação em Engenharia Mecânica) - Centro de Tecnologia, Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, Natal, 2022.https://repositorio.ufrn.br/handle/123456789/50448During conventional machining operations, forces arise and can cause unwanted deformations, temperature increase and tool wear. Monitoring such forces is necessary to optimize the machining process, however, this monitoring can become expensive. Thus, scratch testing represents a quick and inexpensive solution to investigate conventional machining processes in a simulated way, as it satisfactorily represents the phenomena that occur during chip formation process. Therefore, the main objective of the present work was to contribute to the construction of an instrumented pendulum sclerometer that has been developed at the Manufacturing Laboratory at UFRN. In this case, the contribution refers to the improvement and assembly of its mechanical structure, and modeling and manufacture of the pendulum head. All the present work was previously modeled using SolidWorks® 2019, in order to avoid problems in the assembly and manufacture of the many parts of the equipment. In the case of a contribution work aimed at finalizing the equipment, it was concluded that the results obtained were satisfactory, providing a great help to finish the discussed machine.Attribution-NoDerivs 3.0 Brazilhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nd/3.0/br/Esclerômetro pendularRiscamentoProjeto e construçãoScherometryPendulum sclerometerConstructionUma contribuição para o desenvolvimento de um esclerômetro pendular instrumentadoA contribution to the development of a pendulum sclerometerbachelorThesisCNPQ::ENGENHARIAS::ENGENHARIA MECANICA
