It begins with reflections on the structural crisis of capital, to delve into the specificities of Brazil's dependent and subordinated insertion in capitalism under the dominion of finance, via a neo-extractivist rentier adjustment model, from 1990 onwards. It establishes configurations of the world of work under the aegis of the crisis, with a focus on the super-exploitation of work, amidst ultra-liberal policies. It emphasizes the limit moment experienced by Brazilian society, in the last six years (2016-2022), at the confluence of bolsonarismo and the covid19 pandemic.
