O perfil bioquímico de duas populações quilombolas do Rio Grande do Norte. 2022. 24f. Given the relative isolation of these groups in the country, few studies track the biochemical profile of this population, creating undesirable situations since this group already lacks public attention in other spheres. Given that, this work has the objective of studying the biochemical profile of two quilombola populations from RN. Blood samples were collected from two quilombola populations for laboratory tests, anthropometric profile and lifestyle of both quilombos were performed. The results showed that 23 participants (58.97%) could be classified as overweight or obese. Regarding the habit of smoking, 53.8% revealed themselves as smokers or former smokers. Both communities had total cholesterol, LDL cholesterol and blood glucose levels above the reference value. There was no statistically significant difference between both communities regarding renal indicators, urea and creatinine, and liver indicators, ALT, AST, FAL and GGT. The glomerular filtration rates calculations showed that 4 people (10.25%) had mild alterations on the rate of renal filtration. The data obtained revealed that there are many vulnerabilities to diseases related to changes in biochemical markers in the quilombos, showing the necessity of public action targeting these populations.QuilombolaPerfil bioquímicoLipidogramaGlicemiaQualidade de vidaO perfil bioquímico de duas populações quilombolas do Rio Grande do NorteThe biochemical profile of quilombolas populations in Rio Grande do NortebachelorThesis
