Implementação da técnica de registro extracelular multicanal no cérebro de roedores in vivo: o caso da biblioteca digital de teses e dissertações da Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte. 2023. 30 f. In non-invasive techniques, the most commonly used is surface recording, known as EEG, while in invasive techniques, ECOG is the most widespread. In rodents, the multichannel microelectrode array is a device for extracellular electrophysiological recording that has enabled advances in the field by allowing prolonged and simultaneous monitoring of various cells. Therefore, the documented development of efficient manufacturing protocols for these devices is necessary. The objective of this work is the implementation of the multichannel extracellular recording technique in the live rodent brain. To achieve this, two arrays of 16 microelectrodes were fabricated and implanted in the CA1 region of the hippocampus of adult Wistar rats. The results demonstrate that the fabricated and implanted device is capable of performing electrophysiological recording. With the implementation of the technique, it is possible to investigate different layers of neuronal groups in a specific region.Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 3.0 Brazilhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/3.0/br/DispositivoMatriz de microeletrodos multicanalRegistro extracelularImplementação da técnica de registro extracelular multicanal no cérebro de roedores in vivoImplementation of the multichannel extracellular recording technique in vivo in the rodent brainbachelorThesisCNPQ::ENGENHARIAS
