This study is in the field of Applied Linguistics, which aims at language while interdisciplinarity and it is composed of a corpus with Profile, Memorials and Group interview. This study, while Humanities, conforms to the French Discourse Analysis theoretical framework, according Michel Pêcheux’s discourse, interdiscourse, discursive memory and meaning production, cross-connected with educational and social studies on public affirmative action policies. By understanding language as a discoursive practice, the discourse analysis showed meaning effects in the construction of the traditional knowledge of students from common spaces reached by the program.
