This section begins in the year when I entered the Visual Arts course. In a first analysis of the material, a recurrence of the theme of portrait and self-portrait is noted, which generates an interest in delving deeper into this theme in the development of new works. The graphic diaries made recently have proven to be significant for studies on artistic expression, often related to therapeutic insights and self-knowledge. The interest in these records, which began portraying friends and gradually gained a more introverted nature, aroused the curiosity to dialogue and better understand creative processes and blocks as well as indicators of mental mechanisms. These fragments indicate some clues of possible creative processes that were formed throughout the course, revealing how interests and techniques have changed over the years. The research presents these studies and reflections, in order to explore the expressive potential that emerged from them, in this case, the portrait and the self-portrait.
