O que as tramas simbólicas e estéticas da cultura do Candomblé nos revelam para se pensar o corpo na Educação Física. 2016. 215f. Dissertação (Mestrado em Educação Física) - Centro de Ciências da Saúde, Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, Natal, 2016.https://repositorio.ufrn.br/jspui/handle/123456789/21344In this research, we invite the reader to a reflection for a phenomenological look concerning the body, by means of the description of the ritual of the Xirê, lived in Ilê Axé Dajô Obá Ogodô, which constitutes itself an African matrix house where it is worshiped the religiousness Candomble Ketu. Thus, we ask in this dissertation: how do we comprehend the body in the rituals of the Xires of Orishas, and its interlacement with the symbols, the myths and the esthetics? In order to answer this question, we embarqued, with the purpose of going through routes which main goals aim to: reflect the space and the time lived within the ritual of Xire, in an effort to plot symbolic and esthetic narratives; besides that, we aim to point out significant elements, come from the reflection, in order to think on the body in Physical Education. From that, the esthetic and symbolic dimmensions of the sacred space and time of the ritual Xire, in a special manner, the scenaries lived in Exu Obaluaiê, Iemanjá and Oiá had made us see, feel and think on another logic for the body in the universe of Physical Education. The reflections made in the study engendered from a phenomenological analysis which tunes itself with the atitudes of the philosopher Maurice Merleau-Ponty. Thereby, we have incorporated the modality of meaning networks in which the tessitura are created from interconnectors of various categories, showing their own contexture of the perceived sense and of the attributed meanings. For that, we have done an epistemic exercise of qualitative nature which used – as data collection instruments - imagetic registers of that ritual, interviews with some followers of the Candomble culture as well as the registers, in the field jornal, of the experienced sensations within the researched universe. Those sensations were reached and interpreted during the trajectory of various meetings envolved with the activities of the Candomblé culting house. Bodies in here perform another logic of being and staying in the world and, this way, come inspiring other senses that challenge the Physical Education to think, feel and behave through the body which subverts itself.
