In order to achieve the goal, a study regarding the Institutos Federais, the Brazilian educational basis laws (LDB) and the Sistema Unificado de Educação Pública (SUAP). Likewise, in order to understand the interaction design, a better studying of the concepts of usability, user experience and emotional interaction was made necessary. The approach of User-Centered Design was the one utilized as a foundation to develop the project’s methodology, which used data collecting tools (questionnaires and interviews) to investigate the teacher’s needs and aspirations, as well as the cooperative evaluation technique for analyzing SUAP-EDU’s current state together with the users. From the data gathered, a synthesis and analysis of information occurred, generating a list of suggestions to solve the problems encountered during the survey.
