The present study was carried out through a literature review with the aim of outlining the studies on ADHD and the psychomotricity subsidies in this field. The methodological procedures were: survey of bibliographic studies of articles published in the Revista de Psicopedagogia and in the Revista Iberoamericana de Psicomotricidad y Técnicas Corporales between the years of 2013 and 2018. This paper deals with a research regarding the production of knowledge about the disorder, which causes concerns in several settings in the individual with ADHD. The objectives to be achieved are to map the production of knowledge about ADHD between 2013 and 2018; verify the change in the understanding of ADHD; to identify implications of psychomotricity in ADHD therapy through literature review. Psychomotricity is indicated as one of the modalities for the treatment of ADHD, attenuating the symptoms and contributing to motor development and the development of psychosocial issues.
