It is necessary to analyze the be-haviour of tourist equipment. That is why travel agencies were selected as the sub-ject of study to understand the issue. As social networks expand, more promotional options emerge, which develop into strategies and provide businesses with security by complementing face-to-face services. Because of this, the present study aims to analyze the contributions of social media in the strategies adopted by travel agen-cies in the Seridó Potiguar region to address the pandemic crisis. The methodology employed in this study was exploratory. It involved conducting bibliographical re-search using books and scientific articles, as well as electronic research to collect information and identify travel agencies through the Register of Service Providers (CADASTUR). The approach was implemented by using a travel script applied to companies located in the selected municipalities of the Seridó region. The theoreti-cal approach was based on the studies conducted by Nápoli et al. (2020) and Serpa and Cardias (2021), which examined social media and agency behaviour during the pandemic.
