Objective: To analyze the epidemiological aspects of cases of acquired syphilis in young people in the State of Rio Grande do Norte from 2013 to 2023. Method: An exploratory-descriptive, ecological and retrospective study, with a quantitative approach, data were extracted from the Department of Information and Informatics of the Unified Health System (DATASUS), about acquired syphilis in young people aged 15 to 19 years, by Health Region, in the state of Rio Grande do Norte. Results and discussion: The data analyzed reveal that there is a higher concentration of cases of acquired syphilis in the 7th Health Region of the State (991 cases, 62.72%), there is a slight prevalence of cases for females (883 cases, 55.82%), it is also perceived that there is a predominance of cases in the brown race (815 cases, 51.58%), in relation to variable education, There is a higher percentage of cases for incomplete high school.
