It is also sought to emphasize the importance of play as a teaching strategy in Early Childhood Education, taking into account teacher training in relation to a pedagogical practice based on the ludic. To better understand this process, in this research was used in the bibliographic and field modalities, seeking to articulate the theoretical studies with the analysis of data obtained from a questionnaire applied to the teachers of an institution of Early Childhood Education and the observations made there. Through the research based on the official documents that govern Brazilian education and in the foundations of authors such as Vygotsky (1989), Luckesi (2000), Kishimoto (2011), Almeida (1994), Barbosa (2006), Oliveira (1988), etc., we verified according to the studied school reality, that educators see great importance in the use of play as Methodological instrument and that its use combined with pedagogical activities can transform learning into a pleasurable action that produces positive results.openAccessEducação InfantilLúdicoPrática pedagógicaChild EducationLudicPedagogical practicebachelorThesisCiências Humanas
