Thanks to the progress made in electrode materials during the last decades, electrochemical processes appear, more than ever, a real alternative to treat these water and soils contaminated by persistent species. It is known that the oxidation of these species in degrees of potency and, therefore, requires that the material to be used has specific electrocatalytic properties which makes the boron doped diamond anode (BDD) the best material to be applied. Knowing that the electrochemical oxidation (OE) processes based on hydroxyl radicals (• OH) have some limitations, this work investigated the BDD-SO42− / SO4•-/ S2O82− OE and the persulfate half-life. For such studies, BDD anodes were used to carry out experiments on the flow of sodium sulfate (Na2SO4) electrolysis at different current densities 30, 45 and 60 mA.cm-2. For each current density as solutions, they were divided into two volumes and stored at 30°C and 10°C for 14 days. Persulfate decay was analyzed during the 14 days by the ISCO method, at the end of this evaluation the best result was applied to the degradation of methyl orange (MO) and 1,4 benzoquinone (1,4-BQ).Acesso AbertoEletroquimicaDiamante dopado com boroPersulfatoMecanismosUso do Eletrodo de Diamante Dopado com Boro (BDD) na produção eletroquímica de persulfato e como sensor de composto orgânicos durante eletroanálisedoctoralThesisCNPQ::CIENCIAS EXATAS E DA TERRA::QUIMICA
