In regards to the land use, studies concerning the Trip Generating Poles deserve special attention, in order to take the greatest amount of environmental benefits possible from their construction. The present work aims to establish the trip generation mathematical model of vertical residential multifamily buildings with more than 50 housing units. In order to achieve this, data from 10 buildings from two neighborhoods of Natal, RN were collected and analyzed. Concerning the regressions, the best results were obtained using the occupied housing units as explanatory variable, in the form of linear and logarithmic regressions.
