In order to understand the patterns of presence and absence of migratory birds, data from the species Elaenia chilensis (n = 1034) and Turdus amaurochalinus (n = 423) were collected from July 2010 to November 2014 in the Barreira do Inferno Launch Center (Parnamirim, RN). It was used the method of capture by mist-nets in order to verify when these species, which at first are only migrants in the Northeast region, are in the area. Elaenia chilensis frequented the area mainly between March and June, for both adults and juvenil, with some individuals being captured in other months of the year. In this species, few recaptures occurred, showing a well defined migration pattern, since the same individuals did not remain for a long time in the area. The Turdus amaurochalinus was most captured between June and September, however the species is present year-round in the area, also exhibiting juvenil and constant recaptures, indicating that the species has a population resident in the area. With this in view, further studies are needed to better explain the migration pattern of the latter specie.openAccessAn error occurred getting the license - uri.MigraçãoMigration s; PasserinesElaenia chilensisElaenia chilensisTurdus amaurochalinusTurdus amaurochalinuPadrões de migração de duas espécies de aves (Elaenia chilensis e Turdus amaurochalinus) presentes no Nordeste BrasileirobachelorThesis
