The methodology used was descriptive, bibliographical and quantitative. The choice was due to the fact that the number of negotiations of Bitcoins became more expressive after 2015, since previously it was not relevant for analysis, for the indexes LCI and Ibovespa were chosen because they are more traditional income of application and have characteristic of fixed income for LCI and variable for the Ibovespa, allowing a more diversified analysis. The result of the present study was considered satisfactory, the investment in Bitcoin included a much higher return on capital than other indexes, with 1,509.51% obtaining a net gain of R $ 160,950.79, the LCI obtaining a 50.98% return reaching the total amount of R $ 15,097.96 and the Ibovespa reached 81.03% return with a total income of R $ 18,103.40. The return in Bitcoin, although higher in monetary value, still requires a lot of analysis regarding the safety of the application, it should be noted that the future of this product still has uncertainties for its maintenance as an investment option.InvestimentoInvestmentEducação financeiraFinancial educationBitcoinbachelorThesis
