Though there are many theories, the most accepted is that Syphilis was arised in the end of XV century, in Europe, it became with a serious epidemic situacion, being a unknowing disease. It’s a sexually transmitted and systemic disease, caused by T. pallidum, the human being the specific reservoir to survive, multiply and, consequently, disseminate. Among the patients affected by syphilis, stand out the individuals with compromised immunity, as well as a more indiscriminate sex life, therefore, benefiting a coinfection by human immunodeficiency and though Syphilis. One of the forms of treatment for HIV- seropositive individuals is Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP). Therefore, the objective of this review is bring a bibliographic survey about the increases cases of síflis in individuals who uses the Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) to HIV, showing the importance of using condom as a form of prevention. Researches was done using scientific databases like PUBMED, Science Direct e Scientific Electronic Library Online (Scielo), as of keywords in portuguese and in english. In the english researches the words used was: HIV, AIDS, syphilis, pre-exposure prophylaxis, treatment, etiology, diagnosis. In the portuguese researches the words used was: sífilis, PrEP, HIV, AIDS, sífilis+tratamento, sífilis+diagnóstico, etiologia.
