In its platform, resources and tools that, together with educational practice, make teaching and interactive and collaborative learning possible, the present work aims to identify the pedagogical potentials of said network, used as a methodological resource in the Arts discipline, with the students from the 6th to the 9th of the Municipal School Gregório Bezerra, at Olinda city, in Pernambuco. It seeks to present the set of activities carried out from online content in the closed group "Tá na Aula, Tá no Face!" (It´s in the classroom, it´s in the Face, in brazilian portuguese language), analyzing their contributions to the development of artistic thinking, enabling the construction of students’ knowledge in a non-traditional way. This is a qualitative bibliographic research, under the bias of the participatory action research using the Grounded Theory for the analysis of the data collected. Starting from the subjects of internet origins, the development of networked society, virtual communities and social networks, we have built a path that leads us to its influences in education.
