The research sought to understand how these actions are perceived by this specific group and based on that, identify practices that either promote or hinder the inclusion and effective participation of autistic individuals in events. Additionally, it is expected that the research will contribute to the improvement and qualification of the strategies adopted by event organizers, in terms of better meeting the needs and expectations of this audience. To achieve the proposed objective, an exploratory-descriptive study was conducted in collaboration with autistic individuals who frequently attend events in the capital of Rio Grande do Norte. The research focused on the experiences of the neurodiverse audience, using a qualitative approach for data collection and analysis. The main findings revealed that individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) perceive that the actions taken by companies require improvements to better serve them at the events they promote, such as: the need for clearer and more accessible communication, adaptation of physical environments, implementation of assistive technologies, and professional training.Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 3.0 Brazilhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-nd/3.0/br/Turismo acessívelEventosInclusãoAccessible tourismEventsInclusionInclusão em eventos: uma análise sobre a perspectiva dos autistasInclusion in events: an analysis of the perspective of autistic peoplebachelorThesisCNPQ::CIENCIAS SOCIAIS APLICADAS::TURISMO
