Methods: an observational, transversal, prospective study of a quantitative nature. Performed with 10 individuals of both sexes, five being the experimental group (SG) individuals with Parkinson's disease and five the control group (CG) healthy individuals. Evaluations were performed through: Mine Mental State Examination (MMSE); Unified Parkinson's Disease Rating Scale (UPDRS); modified Hoehn & Yahr scale; Berg Balance Scale (BSE); Dynamic Gait Index (DGI); Time Up and Go Test (TUG), and the Stroop Test (ST) adapted for illiterates. All data were analyzed using the BioEstat 5.0 program. For the demographic data a descriptive analysis was made, for the normality of the sample the Shapiro-Wilk test was used, which demonstrated non-normal data. The Friedman test to evaluate the intragroup and Mann-Whitney variance to evaluate the intergroup. For the analyzes, we used the significance level p <0.05. Results: In the intragroup analysis we noticed a significant value in the cadence and correctness in both groups. In the intergroups, there was only a significant difference in the hit variable when compared to the DTE MSTN condition of the GE with the DTE MSTN condition of the GC and the DTE MSTC condition of the GE with the DTE MSTC condition of the GC. Conclusion: It can be concluded that BMI can present effects that interfere with the gait of individuals with Parkinson's disease and healthy individuals.
