Risk factors such as age over 50 years, male gender, sedentary lifestyle, alcohol consumption, smoking and a family history of CRC known are to increase the chances of developing the neoplasm. Objective: to analyze the cases of CRC and to identify if the clinical aspects of the patients assisted by the Liga Norte Riograndense Contra o Câncer (LIGA)-Natal/RN, Brazil are in accordance with the literature. Method: The medical records of 360 patients diagnosed with CRC analyzed were. Subsequently, a descriptive analysis of the results was performed using the Statistical Package for Social Science v. 20. Results: according to the results obtained, the mean age of patients was 58.7 years, with no difference in the distribution of patients according to gender. The most frequent comorbidity was hypertension, followed by diabetes and obesity. Regarding family history of CRC, most patients reported not having it. With regard to lifestyle, most patients were sedentary and did not consume alcohol or smoke. Conclusion: analysis of the clinical characteristics of CRC patients treated at LIGA-Natal/RN-Brazil allowed us to identify that the results regarding age, sedentary lifestyle and TNM classification were similar to the results observed in other studies in the literature with CRC patients.
