A importância da história indígena na formação escolar: uma perspectiva histórica e historiográfica para o ensino. 2025. 19 f. To do so, it briefly revisits the historical processes of transformation of Indigenous peoples throughout the formation and consolidation of the nation-state, which for many years promoted policies of invisibility for these peoples. However, in the 1980s, the country took important steps regarding Indigenous rights with the promulgation of the 1988 Federal Constitution, which highlighted the right to difference and abandoned an assimilationist view that had been in vogue until then. Moreover, the emergence of a "new Indigenous history," as well as the rapprochement between History and Anthropology, have reformulated relevant concepts for a better understanding of Indigenous experiences. The new studies contributed to the deconstruction of stereotypes and prejudices deeply rooted in Brazil regarding indigenous peoples, and through this light shed on the subject, we perceive the potential for building a more critical, plural, and respectful society.Ensino de História IndígenaFormação escolarNova história IndígenaLei 11.645/2008Indigenous History TeachingNew Indigenous HistorySchool EducationLaw 11.645/2008A importância da história indígena na formação escolar: uma perspectiva histórica e historiográfica para o ensinoThe importance of indigenous history in school education: a historical and historiographical perspective for teachingbachelorThesis
