This intervention took place during the supervised curricular internship period, and as part of the activities developed within the scope of scientific initiation activities, through the Work Plans (PIBIC-PROPESq-UFRN). The study follows the principles of a qualitative research, of bibliographic character, interpreting and critically analyzing the data collected, through the questionnaire instrument. It deals with the assessment of learning, an important element to monitor the student's progress, investigate their difficulties, skills and competences, in addition to remote teaching and its relevance to education during the most critical stage of the Coronavirus pandemic, bringing to the scene ICTs as key piece. Teachers needed to adapt methodological strategies and procedures to remote teaching, in which the way of evaluating was also influenced. From this, the problem arises: How did teachers evaluate student learning in remote teaching? To address this problem, objectives were outlined, of which the general tried to describe the challenges and possibilities found in the remote format by teachers, to verify the learning performance of elementary school students. The methodology adopted to develop this research started from: 1) selecting the base bibliography for the writing of the theoretical contribution of the investigation, 2) choosing the target audience, 3) determining the instrument used for data collection, an online questionnaire and 4) the strategy to collect them, an intervention in the school's planning week, through a lecture.
