Otimização da injeção cíclica de vapor em reservatório de óleo pesado com características do nordeste brasileiro. 2017. 77 f. TCC (Graduação) - Curso de Engenharia de Petróleo, Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, Natal, Brasil, 2017.https://repositorio.ufrn.br/handle/123456789/39553The increase oil recovery in land-based fields is current one of the main challenges of the oil industry. A significant portion of the world's existing onshore reserves is composed of heavy and extra-heavy oil. One of the most versatile solutions for heavy oil recovery is the cyclic steam stimulation, because it provides production of considerable volumes of oil and return of the value invested quickly. The purpose of this work is to analyze the technical and economical, through the numerical simulation, variation of the optimization of the steam rate in the cyclic steam stimulation, in a reservoir of heavy oil with Brazilian northeast characteristics. The simulations were performed using STARS Software, Computer Modeling Group Ltd (CMG), version 2013, in a cylindrical reservoir model containing a single injector/producer well. The oil contained in the reservoir is classified as heavy, with 16.76 ºAPI. The reservoir rock properties are 25m of thickness, 80m of reservoir radius, 200m of top depth, 30% of porosity, horizontal permeability of 1000md and 100md of vertical permeability. The steam injection rates varied from 500 to 5000 m³STD/cycle, with increments of 500 m³STD/day, totaling 10 different rates. After the simulations, technical data, such as recovery factor, oil rate and volume of cumulative produced water, were analyzed. Economic analyzes for 9 different economic scenarios were carried out using the net present value method to identify the most profitable case, in detriment of production in each scenario. The results show that, with the increase of the injection rate, the higher the volumes of oil and the cumulative water production, consequently, the higher the recovery factor. Optimized cases presented similar results to cases without optimization. The economic analysis showed that in 4 of the 9 scenarios, the optimized cases presented higher NPV. Optimization proved to be more advantageous for unfavorable economic scenarios, with a low oil price. Regarding payback, the results were the same for the cases with and without optimization.openAccessinjeção cíclica de vaporsimulação numéricaotimização da cota de injeçãoanálise econômicaEOROtimização da injeção cíclica de vapor em reservatório de óleo pesado com características do nordeste brasileirobachelorThesis
