As for the production strategy, it is composed of plans and actions that make it possible to direct the organization with more assertive decisions. These decisions are linked to four perspectives: top-down, buttom-up, market requirements, and production resources, and from these it is possible to predict the future of the company. Thus, this work aims to identify and analyze whether the formation of the production strategy is efficient to achieve the performance purposes. Thus, it was necessary to identify the performance objectives elected by the company; identify the degree of influence of each of the perspectives in the formation of the production strategy and its efficiency index in the perception of managers and employees in order to answer the degree of influence of each of the perspectives in the formation of the company's production strategy. In terms of methodology, this research is a case study of the descriptive type, applied and using a quantitative approach, because it exposes characteristics of the population studied through an investigation of information where the phenomenon occurs and proposes to solve a problem. The data was collected by applying a questionnaire to two groups: the administrative area and manager, and the employees in the production area. In view of the results it was possible to realize that although the company has guidelines for the management of objectives and strategies, this information is not reaching the employees as it should. It is evident in most cases that the two groups do not have the same synchrony, and therefore the production strategy is not efficient.
