This demand arises in light of the massive amount of scientific production that emerges day after day, making it humanly impossible to absorb all the knowledge produced. By condensing information into a single, simplified manual, it is possible to align flows, avoid inconsistencies in care for users, and facilitate access to information for different classes of workers. Thus, with the intention of meeting part of this demand for instrumentation of primary care services, this work aims to produce an experience report on the creation and implementation of clinical conduct manuals at the Prefeito José Vilani de Melo Lula Basic Health Unit (Currais Novos – RN). The materials produced during the Family and Community Medicine Residency were directed at the management of systemic arterial hypertension and prenatal routines, using language that is accessible to all workers in the service. The aim was to report on the process of creating the manuals, presenting them to the team, and the difficulties and potential of this type of intervention in this scenario. Initially, the implementation of these manuals resulted in significant improvements in the alignment of the team's work, fostering standardization of care, as well as providing the creation of a space for collective discussion within the UBS. Challenges were present during the process, such as the difficulty of organizing the team's schedule for meetings and the difficulty of producing physical manuals.
