These pieces of equipment are essential for accurate diagnoses, directly impacting treatments and patient safety. Moreover, failures in these devices can lead to delays in care and increased maintenance costs. Therefore, efficient management, with continuous monitoring and appropriate preventive and corrective maintenance, ensures the proper functioning and reliability of these devices in the hospital setting. Based on the above, this study evaluated the management of high-criticality medical equipment at the Imaging Diagnostic Center of the Onofre Lopes University Hospital (HUOL).
