Methods: Ecological study of a time series, with incidence data extracted from the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) during the years 1990 to 2012 and mortality data obtained from 17 countries of the World Health Organization (WHO). Results: The highest incidence rates for ovarian cancer were observed in Colombia and Brazil in the age group above 60 years and lower incidence rates are observed in the age group 0 to 39 years, with a trend of stability for the historical cohort. For mortality trends in the age group of 60-74 years, only Costa Rica presented a reduction, the others presented increase and stability. Conclusion: The incidence of ovarian cancer in Latin America was stable in most countries.
