In the urban and tourist reality of Natal – RN, it is no different. Seeking to understand such dynamics in one of the most emblematic territories of this city, this study aims to analyze how the processes of socio-spatial integration/segregation occur around the beaches of Miami, Areia Preta and Escadaria de Mãe Luiza - Natal/RN. Therefore, it presents as specific objectives: historically contextualize the territory of the theme; present the look of two groups of actors who dialogue with this territory; Show the opinion and suggestions of these two groups about the tourist dynamics in the place. The methodological approach has a qualitative, exploratory-descriptive approach, using documentary research and formation of two focus groups (residents of Bairro de Areia Preta and residents of Bairro de Mãe Luíza) that were questioned based on thematic units.
