Análise sobre o padrão de associação entre internações por doenças cardiovasculares e temperatura do ar para Natal, Teresina e João Pessoa. Orientador: Paulo Sérgio Lucio. 2023. 62 f. TCC (Graduação) - Curso de Meteorologia, Centro de Ciências Exatas e da Terra, Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, Natal, 2023.https://repositorio.ufrn.br/handle/123456789/53768Meteorology, as well as its variables, has a direct relationship with human health, taking into account that climatic conditions can affect people's physical and mental well-being. As a result, meteorology plays a crucial role in planning and responding to public health emergencies. And for that, several works are started with the intention of promoting meteorology as an area of great influence for human health. Motivated by the news published in Hcor (Hospital do Coração) with the title “Hcor cardiologist warns: heat increases the risk of infarction”, a descriptive analysis study of the association between temperature variables (maximum, average and minimum) and the number of hospitalizations due to cardiovascular diseases, in order to promote knowledge of this relationship and motivate people to better prepare themselves for days with extreme temperature levels. To carry out the study, it was necessary to collect data from INMET (National Institute of Meteorology) and DATASUS (Department of Informatics of the Unified Health System), then the correlation between the variables was performed, but the results were very low and presented little relevance to the study. Therefore, the correspondence technique was performed to verify the association indicated by the Chi-square test, and according to the result, the correspondence analysis is performed with the categorized variables. Through the results, it is clear that Teresina did not present a significant association between temperature variables and cardiovascular diseases. However, Natal and João Pessoa presented correlation between variables with well-defined correspondence analysis.MeteorologiaGráfico de dispersãoCorrelaçãoCategorizaçãoTeste de Qui-quadradoAnálise de correspondênciaMeteorologyScatter plotCorrelationCategorizationChi-square testCorrespondence analysisAnálise sobre o padrão de associação entre internações por doenças cardiovasculares e temperatura do ar para Natal, Teresina e João PessoaAnalysis on the pattern of association between hospitalization for cardiovascular diseases and air temperature for Natal, Teresina and João PessoabachelorThesisCNPQ::CIENCIAS EXATAS E DA TERRA
