Peptides structurally containing disulfide bridges have several pharmacological properties and are very stable. The present study aims to propose a GC-MS methodology for amino acid analysis to determine the analytical fingerprint of the peptide Stigmurin derived from the venom of the scorpion Tityus stigmurus. Considering the problem that the GC/MS equipment only analyzes volatile and low-weight chemical molecules, the proposal of the hydrolysis technique with HCl and derivatization with BTSFA of this peptide becomes applicable. Thus, the results obtained in the GC/MS analysis were satisfactory, being possible to separate and identify all the amino acids present in the chemical structure of Stigmurin and, thus, to use the analytical technique GC-MS as a tool for determining the fingerprint of StigmurinCC0 1.0 Universalhttp://creativecommons.org/publicdomain/zero/1.0/Peptídeo, Stigmurina, Derivatização, GC/MS.Análise GC-MS como ferramenta de Fingerprint para Stigmurina: Peptídeo Sintético do Escorpião Tityus stigmurusGC-MS Analysis as a Fingerprint Tool for Stigmurin: Synthetic Peptide from the Scorpion Tityus stigmurusbachelorThesisCNPQ::CIENCIAS DA SAUDE::FARMACIA
