This is a narrative review study. The use of communication management tools, applied effectively in the care process, was highlighted. Emphasis was placed on the positive impacts that the use of these strategies bring to the relationships between healthcare professionals and managers. Effective communication strategies contribute to greater productivity, quality, and safety in services and patient safety. Furthermore, obstacles to the construction and strengthening of this practice in healthcare services were also identified. However, it is considered that managers who adopt and promote measures for more effective communication bring to their institutions a more favorable environment for the development of care practices, collaborative and productive in terms of cost reduction 6 based on process optimization, minimization of errors and adverse events, by building the value of this environment through quality of services and a focus on user safety.pt-BRAttribution 3.0 Brazilhttp://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/br/Gestão HospitalarGestão em SaúdeComunicação EfetivaSegurança do PacienteEquipe InterdisciplinarO gestor hospitalar e a equipe interdisciplinar no processo de comunicação efetiva para a promoção da segurança do paciente: uma revisão narrativaThe hospital manager and interdisciplinary team in the process of effective communication for the promotion of patient safety: a narrative reviewbachelorThesisOUTROS::ADMINISTRACAO HOSPITALAR
