The state of art on the subject is based on concepts and premises of networks, social capital and management that, combined and lined up to the characteristic principles of the governança, conform a new boarding for the composition of structures and conduction of processes applied in the touristic destinations management. This research has as objective to analyze the correspondence between the principles and characteristics of the governance theory and the management model implemented by the Pólo Costa das Dunas (Brazil) while managing unit of the regional tourism. It is characterized as a descriptive, qualitative and case study. The study takes as reference of governance principles participation, cooperation, power decentralization and transparency in management actions, and as analysis model takes the matrical government. This model identifies links and a network composition that allows to visualize relating organizations, programs, goals and results, allowing to identify how processes of taking decisions and implementing promgram, projects and actions are lead. The data and information had been raised by documentary research and interviews applied to the representatives members of the tourism council.
