This work has the objective to evidence the fact that work safety is a vital procedure in civil construction in order to prevent accidents. Research was developed about the work safety and organizations aspects within civil construction environment. It is verified that workers’ behavior and procedures combined with working protocols are the acidents’ triggers. Therefore, work safety comes from the importance to minimize risks which the workers are exposed to and to promote a preventive culture inside the work environment, with it being associated to new approaches that contribuite to this reduction. Civil construction sector is known for its low education level manpower, lack of focus awareness, intense work routine exposure, unsafe work environment and lack of individual protection equipments.
