In 2019, the beaches of the northeastern coast suffered from the crisis of oil spills on their beaches, which put the fishermen's workplace to the test: the ocean and the seaside. In addition, in the following year, the unprecedented COVID-19 crisis in Brazil and in the world, gave rise to a scenario of physical distancing that led fishermen, once again, to have difficulties in carrying out their work and income, their survival. In this way, the present article proposes an evaluation work of this moment for the fishing communities, starting from the starting question: How did the virtual communicative articulation of the fishing community of RN occur in the face of the oil spill crisis and the Covid-19 pandemic. In order to address the issue, netnography, interviews and videos were used. The bibliographic research method was also used in the search for information from scientific articles, academic works, blogs, among others.
