Methodology: This research is exploratory, descriptive, with a qualitative approach. The research was carried out at the Regional Hospital of the interior of Rio Grande do Norte, where 21 professionals of the nursing team were interviewed, using an instrument in which it contained a guiding question regarding the purpose of the study. The collection was carried out from July to August 2018, the data analysis was performed through content analysis according to Bardin. Results: After analyzing the data, the following categories were identified: "update, bring new knowledge and more safety in the work process", "integration among professionals", "changes reality", "Patients benefit", " is a space to share knowledge "and" serves for evaluation of institutional performance ". Conclusion: It is of fundamental importance the implementation of the NEP in the health services, since it is notorious that this education tool generates benefits for the quality of care in the services through the improvement, teaching and updating of the practices of the nursing professionals.serviços médicos de emergênciaeducação permanenteequipe de enfermagembachelorThesis
