The students did not learn only to play the instruments and musical initiation, but to manufacture their own instruments. This research is the result of a project carried out at the School of Music of Rio Grande do Norte (EMUFRN) entitled Laboratory of Artisanal Instruments in which students of the degree course in Music of UFRN teach the luthiership of PVCífanos flutes and are always developing new instruments. The workshops took place at the Yayá Paiva Municipal School in the city of Nísia Floresta RN class of the 7th grade "A" Vespertino during the music discipline of teacher Ms. Camila Luna. The results were very satisfactory and motivating for the continuity of this project, the acceptance of the students and total commitment, showed the importance of developing new tools for teaching and learning with materials accessible to all.
