TCC (Graduação) - Curso de Engenharia Civil, Centro Tecnológico, Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, Natal, 2017.https://repositorio.ufrn.br/handle/123456789/40627The flat slab structural system offers great advantages from a constructive point of view, like flexibility in the definition of internal spaces and more efficiency in refurbishment and future modifications. However, in slab-column connection appears high stresses that can lead to abrupt collapse of the structure due to punching shear. Despite brittle behavior of the system, it is common to place openings for pipes systems, which reduces the punching shear capacity of flat slabs. This research presents a numerical analysis study of the punching behavior in 10 reinforced concrete slabs models, without shear reinforcement, with adjacent openings supported by internal "L" cross section columns using the finite element method (FEM). The slabs were modeled by the software SAP2000 v.19 (Structural Analysis and Design Program), to gather results for the analysis, it was assumed the physical nonlinear behavior of the materials. The influence of the openings on the punching shear behavior of the slab-column connection was studied through the analysis of the ultimate loads, stresses distribution, concrete strains and vertical displacements. It is also presented a comparison of numerical models with results provided by requirements from the standards: NBR 6118 (ABNT, 2014), Eurocode 2 (CEN, 2010), ACI 318 (ACI, 2014) and the theoretical model using the Critical Shear Crack Theory (MUTTONI, 2008).openAccessAttribution 3.0https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0/Concreto ArmadoLajes lisasAnálise numéricaPunçãoFurosAnálise numérica de punção em lajes lisas com furos apoiadas em pilares com seção transversal em “L”Numerical analysis of punching shear failure in flat slab structures with openings, supported by column with "L" cross sectionbachelorThesis
