In the healthcare field, despite the advances provided by the digital transformation that brings with it an increasing and diverse set of software, in the practice of development, there is no specific process model that is ideal for all types of projects. Depending on the system in development and the team running it, different processes can be put into practice. From this perspective, this work presents a study about the impact of the choice and application of a model (or perhaps set or mixture of models) of a software development process for healthcare systems. The work is contextualized with the experiences of the SigSaude project to try to relate the results of practices carried out in the project with other experiences reported in the specific literature.
