This is an integrative literature review, whose search took place from May to July 2021, using the bases of LILACS, SciELO, BDENF, Google Scholar, in addition to the GOOGLE search platform, in order to answer the guiding question: “How do the care protocols for people with wounds in PHC in Brazil present themselves in terms of their structuring, typology of injuries and type of intervention?”. Studies on the topic of wound protocols in the context of primary care were included, full text in open access online format, from 2011 to 2021. Exclusion criteria were: editorials, letters to the editor, abstracts, expert opinion, other reviews, correspondence, reviews, book chapters, and repeated studies. As a result, 88 records were obtained, 14 protocols were analyzed after applying the eligibility criteria. The discussion turned to the structuring of this tool, analysis of the topics addressed, operationalization, assessment and classification of wounds, standardized coverage and attributions of professionals who make up the health network.
