Management techniques and technological tools have been used in order to gain competitive advantage in order to thus reduce costs, provide quality service and increase revenue of the companies. In this context, information technology is a strong ally and, if used effectively, can bring positive results for schools. Before exposed, the objective of this research is to evaluate the impact of the use of information technology through the school management software for continuous improvement of performance indicators in private high schools. In terms of methodology, this research is characterized as applied according to their nature, exploratory and descriptive in relation to the objectives, with a quantitative approach, using the survey method for collecting data on a representative sample of the whole study of the universe. To collect these data, questionnaires were structured in a sample of 43 schools in the state of Rio Grande do Norte, of which 32 use software on their management processes.
