A tv do Brasil é em cores?: um estudo de caso sobre a representatividade LGBT a partir de Félix Khoury, da novela Amor à vida (2013). 50f. 2020. Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso (Graduação em Comunicação Social) - Departamento de Comunicação Social, Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte, Natal, 2020.https://repositorio.ufrn.br/handle/123456789/34415This monograph surveys the LGBT characters of the Rede Globo de Televisão teledramaturgy from 2009 to 2019, observing the quantity, profiles and outcomes of these characters, relating them to the authors in order to point out patterns of narrative construction and categorize the profiles. Using studies on the history of the LGBT movement in Brazil and heteronormativity, a connection is made between the social impacts of LGBT representativeness and the way this community is portrayed on television. The character Félix Khoury, played by the actor Mateus Solano in the novel "Amor à Vida", by Walcyr Carrasco (2013), is specifically analyzed. In a case study, the divergences between the representation of the LGBT community in the soap opera and the real lives of the members of this group are pointed out, also elucidating a divergence of purpose between the LGBT movement and the message conveyed by this soap opera. The historical relationship between gay men and the humor industry was used to debate possible problems regarding the discredit of this group through their representation in television works, as well as the causal relationship between the media and common sense about the LGBT community in Brazil.LGBTNovelasRede GloboSoap operaA TV do Brasil é em cores?: um estudo de caso sobre a representatividade LGBT a partir de Félix Khoury, da novela Amor à vida (2013)bachelorThesisRádio e televisão
